WORKSHOP ON "SAFE ENOUGH TO EXPLORE"

Safe enough to explore

Safety and Containment with Action Methods

The Therapeutic Spiral Model© (TSM) was developed to address the limitations of both talk and action therapies. (Hudgins, 2002, 2000).  TSM provides helping professionals with rapid, safe, effective action techniques for treating trauma.

In this one day workshop we will introduce the TSM structures which ensure safety, connection and group cohesion that is essential before meaningful work on trauma material can be achieved.

TSM© maximizes the effectiveness of psychodrama while helping the clinician stabilize the client in a safe structure built on prescriptive roles for containment, restoration and observation.  Read more about the model www.therapeuticspiral.org or www.atu.org.za
